Class of 2008!!!!!

Tuesday, June 10, 2008

After a long week in Vegas and California, it surely feels good to be home! Nothing at all beats the feeling of my own bed and pillow... only thing missing is my hubby who stayed behind in Cali. to spend time with his beautiful children. One of which has just moved onto the next phase of her life. Congratulations Alloura, Le Moore High School Class of 2008!!! Dad and I are so proud of you! You worked so very hard and have overcome obstacles that only we know about, yet here you are a graduate! Hello college life!
Here are a few pictures of her big night, F-16 jet fly over and all. Now how many high school grads can say that?!?!

We love you sugar!!!

If only the woman in blue would have moved to the left... that's Alloura receiving her diploma!!!

The Traditional Throwing of the Cap!!!

Let's celebrate!!!!!! Look out world, here she comes!!!!

Crystal & Daniel are Married!!!!

Monday, June 2, 2008

Not wanting to break with my tradition (and, I promised the bride) I wanted to be sure to post some images from the wedding of Crystal and Daniel held this Saturday afternoon here in San Antonio.
Just a few weeks ago I was taking Crystals bridal portraits when she was talking about how excited she was for her wedding day, and now here it is... and it was fabulous!
Rich colors of burgundy and gold were the chosen hues with special touches all around. Like the stunning crystals dripping from golden branches in the center of the tables. And who was the oh-so-creative genius behind this??? The groom himself!!! Oh Daniel, I think you missed your calling as an artist! The couples two children served as ring bearer and flower girl, while sisters, cousins, and friends made up the bridal party.
Following an intimate ceremony (also filled with special touches) guests joined the new Mr. & Mrs. for an evening of celebrations that lasted well into the evening! Everyone was having way too much fun... oh, and Crystal/ Daniel, what the heck was in the bottle anyway?
It was a pleasure working with this wonderful couple, from their engagements to the wedding, they were just perfect. I couldn't ask for anything better...

Enjoy the teasers Crystal!

Puppy Party!

With this beautiful weather finally here, one can't help but to finally shed those winter blues and get outside and play a little. One great way is to throw a party for your friends and neighbors. If you don't have a reason to throw a party, then make one up. I just celebrated a "non"-mothers/ mothers day a few weeks back, my 36th birthday (yet again-wink/wink!) on Friday and today I threw a birthday party for my dog... yes, a party for my dog. Cake, ice cream, toys, and all!
Just some history behind our family of dogs... we own 3. They are Tiffany (she came with me in the package :)) then we got Tobi. He and Tifffany became husband and wife and then came Riley and Dakota. We kept Dakota and Riley went to our neighbors mother. Then, Tiffany and Tobi decided to extend the family and 6 months later came Dallas, Grace, and Joey. All going to our neighbors family members again which is the coolest thing ever!
Along with our bunch, we invited some friends in the neighborhood. Everyone enjoyed hot dogs, flavored water, Frosty Paws Ice Cream (specially for dogs!) and a carob and peanut butter cake from the dog bakery in North Star (thanks Beth!!! It was awesome!!!)
It was great to watch the dogs enjoy such a fun treat, the only hard part... getting them to blow out the candles!!! LOL!!!
Here are a few pictures from our day...
