Priscilla & Jose are engaged!!!

Friday, February 13, 2009

"Let's go to the Rodeo"! Those were some of the first words I heard from my May bride Priscilla and her ever so accommodating husband to be Jose. And, I thought "Cool"!
I am ALL about the creative side of my images. Getting to know my clients on a personal level means everything to me. How else can I produce pictures that are unique to just those two?

So it was off to the Rodeo this morning for dollar day at the good old carnival. Priscilla and Jose showed up slamming in matching white and fuchsia pink! A great attitude and lots of smiles. What more could one as for?
We rode some rides, ate much too much junk food and had a great time! Hope you enjoy your images guys! Can't wait to get to the River Walk.
Here is a sneak peak...

Laura & Mark are engaged!!!

Sunday, January 11, 2009

Quiet, sweet, humble, so in love... words I use to describe this beautiful couple (and their dog Dixie). I had the pleasure of photographing all three today out at Dry Comal Creek Vineyards in New Braunfels Texas. They could have used a few glasses of wine before the shoot, Mark was a bit nervous I think? Then again, what man is not somewhat shy in front of the camera? But leave it to my husband the goof to get everyone laughing it up in no time!
And Sabrina... what can I say except thank you for the use (and the tour) of your fabulous vineyard. I cannot wait to come back in the spring, when the vines are full of purple grapes and the fields full of flowers.
When it was all said and done, we captured some wonderful images... then we all went for a personal wine tasting session (Thank you David!!!) So much fun!!! And yes, we all walked away with a few bottles of wine and some amazingly tasty pepper jelly... I am hooked (and eating some now BTW!).

Oh, and I just can't help myself... I can never keep a secret! So Laura... get ready to meet me again before your big day in February because someone special just treated you to a bridal portrait session!!! :) (Wink-wink) I know how badly you want those images as well. What a lucky girl! So, pick your spot and lets get to it! WHOO-HOO!!!!!
Here are a few from our day... Enjoy!

Meet Dixie...

Just for fun...

Colorful glass makes for some cool pics!

This is the fabulous jelly, that tastes so yummy on crackers. It really compliments the wine! Now I know I can edit images while tipping back a few! LOL!
Kidding guys!

Laura & Alex are engaged!!!

Saturday, December 27, 2008

I was thrilled when I was contacted via Rosemary from Trinity Wedding Solutions with a bride who was interested in my images and wanted to know if I had her date available. One week later we were on board the bridal parade... today, I finally met my new bride Laura and her hubby to be Alex, since they come all the way to me from Indiana!
I cannot wait to cover their wedding to be held in May at the Bushnell House in San Antonio. It is going to be a beautiful ceremony on the rooftop terrace with an elegant reception under the stars and overlooking all of the city.
With her bridal portraits coming in May, this
afternoon we all met up at the Incarnate World for their engagement portraits. This place has sentimental meaning to this couple since they attended school here together. We walked the grounds as they showed me all over, searching for those sweet spots. We found plenty! After, we headed to the Tea Gardens. I have to start remembering how busy it is on the weekends there! And although this day started off overcast and windy, you would never guess that is was just two days after Christmas. Temps. in the high 70's and blue skies hit around 3pm... just in time for our shoot!
This May is packed with 3 weddings booked (including Laura & Alex) and 2 portrait sessions... fabulous!
As promised, here are a few of your images you two... ENJOY!!!
