Hilary & William Are Married~

Saturday, December 6, 2008

Two weekends, two weddings, both FABULOUS!!! I am so blessed to have just the best brides ever, I tell ya! Today I met my bride Hillary, after 2 weeks of conversations via the internet and phone. Her wedding, a simple yet intimate affair with friends and family at the fountains of the McNay Museum. I have been there many times prior, but none until today were weddings. It could not have been a more beautiful day. The sun was bright with few clouds, a light breeze and perfect temperatures that made for a most comfortable afternoon.
As I imagined, Hilary looked beautiful
as she walked the garden path of the McNay to her groom waiting waterside. One of the most unique parts... their broadcast on live webcam to family overseas who could not attend in person. They were able to still experience the excitement thanks to technology. Oh, did I mention that William is an IT guy? LOL!!!
Thank you both for honoring
me by allowing my attendance as a welcomed guest, and your photographer.

Emily at McNay...

Tuesday, July 15, 2008

Its been months of planning, excitement is mounting, wedding day draws near! Emily and Ivan have been a part of my life since I met Ivans mother the second day my husband and I moved into our home when we first arrived in San Antonio. Now, we are all good friends! I heard that there was an engagement coming soon... Ivan contacted me about his big plans to propose. I was there, behind the tree, waiting. I couldn't help but get emotional as he got down on bended knee and asked Emily to be his wife. (Check them out on our gallery page "Proposal") In these next few days she becomes Mrs. Guerra. With a new house, new job and new name... this young bride has the world in the palm of her hand. Her images... those are a surprise as per the brides request. No dress pictures... but artistic ones, those have to be posted!
She was stunning on the day Ivan proposed, she was simply glowing in her dress for our shoot... I can only image what she will be like on her wedding day!!!
Can't wait!!!

Bridals at McNay...

Wednesday, February 6, 2008

Well, the weather held just long enough to capture some beautiful images of my bride Jolyn while we strolled the grounds at the McNay museum. It was a bit windy, but that just made for some great effects with her beautiful dress!
Decked to the nines is a champagne lace gown, hair pulled back and beautiful orange and red flowers... she was stunning. I cannot wait until Saturday when her and her man become husband and wife! She was wonderful to work with, flawless to say the least. A gorgeous face with a figure to match, she made my job so very easy. Mom came along for support and was wonderful as well. I have a feeling that this will be a beautiful wedding... but then again, aren't all weddings beautiful?!?
Here are a few of my favorites, check out all the best of the best in my gallery.
